3CA by Preig is located in Lichtenberg and spans three buildings connected by a courtyard and garden. The community includes 50 artists, with around 40 renting studios and sharing them with others. There is space for almost 20 more rooms, ranging in size from 12 to 20 square meters. In summer, the roof becomes a central gathering place, while in winter, the kitchens and community rooms on the ground floor and basement bring everyone together. The space is equipped with heating, running water, and kitchen facilities, as well as a woodworking room and. The project in Lichtenberg is expected to run until approximately the end of 2025.

3CA isn’t just about studios; it’s about growing together as a community. Whether it’s singing SingStar in the downstairs room, sharing ideas over dinner, or tackling the small challenges of daily life, it’s a constant work in progress. It’s beautiful, messy, and full of life. Mutual respect and a shared drive to create make this a space where artists genuinely support and inspire one another.

3CA welcomes artists from all disciplines. While this project in Lichtenberg will eventually come to an end, it’s just the beginning.
